Nelson made us feel most welcome, he could not do enough for us and showed us a slice of Madeiran life that we would not had normally seen. Accomodation excellent and we will definately recommend Quint de Freitas to all we know and hope to return soon!

We travel a lot & love staying at Bed & Breakfast & it is the 1st time that the host picks us up & takes us to the airport. Nelson does everything to please his guests, I requested fresh bread for breakfast & I had it the next morning. He even took us to a restaurant & collected us with another guest. You could not ask for a better host.

It is a lovely house, close to the bus stop, a levada walk & a fishing village, the ideal place for a stay in Funchal.
